PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to grant permission to establish and conduct a Spoken English Institute at Alagappa University for daily 1 hour based on the petitioner's representation dated 05/01/2026 submitted in person and for other reliefs. ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the respondent University to permit the petitioner to establish and conduct a spoken English institute at the University campus for daily one hour based upon the petitioner's representation dated 05.01.2026.

2. It could be seen from the records that the petitioner is already running a spoken english course at Karaikudi. Now he wants to use the premises of the respondent University and to the said effect, he has given a representation seeking their permission.

3. The petitioner cannot, as a matter of right seek to use the premises of the respondents University.

4. It is for the University to take a decision. This Court cannot issue any mandamus in this regard.

5. With the above said observations, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
