ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete investigation and to file the final report in Crime No. 4 of 2026 as expeditiously as possible.

2.On the complaint given by the petitioner with respect to assault and threats committed by the third respondent, a first information report in Crime No.4 of 2026 came to be registered by the second respondent police on 04.01.2026. Even after the registration of the FIR, the third respondent is continuously preventing the petitioner and his staff from discharging their duty in the college viz. Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women and Endowment Trust at Pallathur, Sivagangai District. Hence, the petitioner has filed this petition seeking aforesaid prayer. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner produced certain video recording, which would throw light on the aggression that had happened 2/5

within the campus of Seethalakshmi Achi College for Women and Endowment Trust at Pallathur, Sivagangai District. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that final report would be filed within a time to be stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, the petitioner is directed to hand over the copy of the video to the second respondent police and the second respondent police is directed to proceed in accordance with law and conclude the investigation and file a final report within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
