PRAYER : Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India to direct the earlier disposal of the suit filed in O.S.No.33 of 2004 on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Dindigul by allowing this Civil Revision Petition.

ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.33 of 2004, within a time frame fixed by this Court. 2.This Court, vide order, dated 06.02.2026, had directed the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, to send a year wise pendency report of the pending cases and in compliance of the same, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, had sent a report vide proceedings in D.No. 190/2026, dated 26.02.2026, annexing the breakup details with regard to the pendency of the cases arising from the year 1987 to 2026. From the perusal of the same, it is seen that the total number of pending cases is 1653 and the

pendency of the cases in the year 2004 is 1.

3.Since the present suit is of the year 2004, the learned Principal Subordinate Judge, Dindigul, is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.33 of 2004, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the aforesaid directions, the Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
