ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.323 of 2014, on the file of the first respondent Police.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation is still pending and on investigation, it reveals that the amount has been settled to some affected persons and the others are yet to be settled.

3.At this stage, the First Information Report cannot be quashed on its threshold. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court finds no merit in this Criminal Original Petition.

4.Recording the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
