ORDER

The petitioners are A.1 to A.3 in C.C.No.70 of 2012, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni and they filed this petition seeking to quash the said proceedings.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned Counsel for the second respondent.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, a joint memo of compromise has been filed by both parties and attested by the Counsel for both parties, in which it is stated that the parties have entered into a settlement out of Court and therefore, there is no necessity for proceeding further in this matter.

4. This Court has also perused the records and satisfied that it is a fit case, where the further proceedings are not required to be ordered.

5. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the proceedings in C.C.No.70 of 2012, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni is quashed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
