ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b) and 506(ii) I.P.C in Crime No.287 of 2014 and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. According to the defacto complainant, namely Mandhiri, the accused scolded him in filthy language and also threatened with dire consequences.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the defacto complainant.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the State opposed this anticipatory bail petition. She has also filed a counter affidavit stating that the petitioner has involved in six previous cases and he is a habitual offender. It is further submitted that he was lastly working as Police Constable at Chinnamanoor Police Station and now the petitioner was placed under suspension.

5. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that due to civil dispute, false cases have been registered against the petitioner and he was released on bail in respect of Crime No.358 of 2015 after completing judicial custody for 70 days.

6. Considering the facts and circumstances, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni, and on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. Scrupulously.

7.
