ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second and third respondents not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. The fourth respondent's husband died on 09.11.2018. His death was found in the mysterious circumstances. The deceased is the son of the first petitioner. The petitioners 2 and 3 are his paternal and maternal uncles of the deceased. In connection with the said death, they have been harassed by the third respondent Police.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners made a specific allegation that the third respondent is insisting the petitioners to settle the wife of the deceased with an amount of Rs.15,00,000/-.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Crime No.85 of 2018 has been registered under Section 174 Cr.P.C and the matter is now under investigation. He however denied there has ever been any harassment by any of the respondents 1 to 3.

6. Inasmuch as the criminal case is pending against the petitioner, the Investigating Agency is directed to complete the investigation in accordance with law.

7. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor nothing needs to be done more in this present petition.

The Criminal Original Petition stands closed accordingly.
