ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The petitioner is claiming himself to be a College student, facing harassment at the hands of the second respondent Police. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that at the instance of the complaint preferred by the third respondent, a case in Crime No.92 of 2019, has been registered under Sections 147, 148, 506(ii) I.P.C and 3 (1) (f), 3 (1) (s) of the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act, 2015 and the matter is under investigation. He further added that the based on the alteration report, the petitioner has been arrayed as Accused No.3.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that now the petitioner is not a named accused, however, the First Information Report discloses as there are 20 persons were shown as accused apart from three named persons.

6.Suffice to say for the present, inasmuch as a criminal case is pending investigation, this Court instructs the Investigating Officer to proceed with the investigation strictly in accordance with law.

7.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
