ORDER

This petition is filed to provide necessary Police protection to the petitioner and her family members by considering her representation dated 01.03.2019.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner laid a civil suit in O.S.No.110 of 2018, before the District Munsif Court, Alangudi.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that a complaint preferred by the petitioner was enquired and closed as it involves certain civil dispute.

5. Since the petitioner only seeks protection to his life, limb and liberty, the petitioner is directed to prefer a fresh

complaint / representation to the second respondent Police, receiving which, the second respondent Police shall cause necessary enquiry and take necessary decision to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner. Sofar as the civil dispute is concerned, the petitioner is directed to work out his remedies before the Civil Court, where the case is pending.
