O R D E R

The petitioner has filed a writ petition in the nature of a Certiorarified Mandamus seeking records of the respondent / Tahsildar, Naguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, dated 07.11.2022 in Na.Ka.No.A2/6733/ 2022.

2. By the said order, the respondent had rejected grant of legal heirship certificate to the petitioner herein. The reasons have been stated in the order and since it is an appealable order. Let me not examine deeply into the reasons. The petitioner may therefore, file an appeal in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.478, dated 22.09.2022 before the Revenue Divisional Officer, who is the Appellate Authority. The period of limitation is still available and I am confident, if such appeal is filed, the Appellate Authority will make necessary enquiries and examine the 2/4

credentials of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders. If an appeal is filed or presented before the Revenue Divisional Officer, from the date of receipt of the records, the Revenue Divisional Officer may dispose of it within a period of twelve weeks.

3. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
