ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the second respondent to file the final report in Crime No.520 of 2011, dated 13.10.2011, pending on the file of the second respondent Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner seeks an expeditious lay of final report by the second respondent in Crime No.520 of 2011, for the offence under Section 394 I.P.C. He submitted that the matter is pending complaint of the investigation for the last eight years.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents seeks some more time to lay the final report.

5. This Court now directs the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Madurai City, to either personally or by any other Authority superior in rank to the second respondent to go through the CD file and take such appropriate steps as necessary to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complete the investigation and direct to lay a final report not later than ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
