ORDER

This petition is filed to direct the first respondent to give Police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members residing at Kallakampatty, Venkatanaickanapatty, Marungapuri Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3.The petitioner complains that he faces threat to his life, limb and property at the hands of the second respondent. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner adds that earlier the second respondent had laid O.S.No.450 of 2011, before the Additional District Munsif, Manapparai, in which, the present petitioner was arrayed as the 17th defendant and the suit came to be dismissed. possession of his property, yet the petitioner faces some threat. 5.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a complaint preferred by the petitioner has been enquired and closed.

6.This does not satisfy this Court as the prayer of the petitioner is to protect his life, liberty and right to property. If the petitioner continues to hold any threat, he is directed to give a fresh representation / complaint to the first respondent Police, receiving which, the first respondent Police shall cause necessary enquiry and take necessary decision to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner.

7.In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
