Respondents PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of Writs of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to survey and measure the petitioner's land in Survey No.214/9 admeasuring an extent of 2.5 ares situate in Utharavai Village, Velipattinam Sub division, Konthakottai Group Keelakkarai Taluk, Ramnad District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 9.12.2019.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to survey and measure the petitioner's land in S.No.214/9, admeasuring to an extent of 2.5 ares, situated at Utharavai Village, Velipattinam Sub division, Konthakottai Group Keelakkarai Taluk, Ramnad District.

2.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 09.12.2019 to the respondents with the relief sought for in the prayer. But, on such representation, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court for the relief stated supra.

W.P(MD)No.2153 of 2020 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that on primary verification, it was found in the revenue records that the aforesaid property has been classified as "jPu;it Vw;gl;l jupR". In that regard, he would further submit that a copy of the communication has already been sent to the petitioner by the respondents. 4.In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received any communication in that regard. Therefore, he insists upon the Court to give a direction to the authority concerned to communicate the same to the petitioner.

5.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this Court, directs the 1st respondent to communicate the reply to the petitioner through RPAD and to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner through e-mail, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
