2. The instant writ petition has been filed by Special Sub Inspector of Police, seeking to dispose of his Mercy Petition dated 16.02.2023.
3. It is brought to the notice of the court that the Mercy Petition submitted by the writ petitioner on 16.03.2023 has been disposed of by the respondent herein on 30.12.2024.
4. In view of the above said facts, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the said order dated 30.12.2024, if he is so advised. No costs.
