This Civil Revision Petition has been filed invoking Article 227 of the Constitution of India for speedy disposal of R.C.O.P.No.39 of 2017 on the file of the Rent Controller (Additional District Musnif) Trichy. This Court by order dated 02.04.2018 had directed the petitioner to take private notice and private notice was taken and the same was served to the respondent. But there is no representation on behalf of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials available on record.

3. R.C.O.P.No.39 of 2017 was filed by the landlord for eviction and for claiming arrears of rent.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, Rent Controller (Additional District Musnif) Trichy, is directed to dispose of R.C.O.P. No.39 of 2017 within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
