Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the impugned Tender Notification issued by the second respondent dated 01.02.2021 and quash the same and consequently directing the second respondent to conduct fresh tender with transparent manner regarding the works by following the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act and Rules.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.

2. The petitioner challenges the impugned tender notification.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent pointed out that the impugned tender notification has already been cancelled. Therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in the writ petition.

3. This writ petition stands closed.

4. At this stage, it is stated that fresh tender notification has been issued. The last date for receiving tenders is 14.02.2021. The petitioner can very well take part in the tender process. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
