...Contemnors/Respondents 2 & 3 PRAYER: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 to initiate contempt proceedings against the contemnors / 2nd and 3rd respondents in the main writ petition for their willful disobedience and willful violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD).No.871 of 2019, dated 26.03.2019 and punish them for the contempt committed by them. Prayer in W.P.(MD).No.871 of 2018:

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to measure and demarcate the petitioners lands in survey No.34 and 487/1 of Thiranipalayam Village, Thiruchirappalli District within a stipulated time.

ORDER

This Court vide order dated 26.03.2019, had directed the respondents to conduct survey. Alleging that the order of this Court has not been complied with, this Contempt Petition came to be filed.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel produced a copy of the communication dated 20.08.2020, issued by the second respondent, indicating compliance of the order passed by this Court. Cont P(MD).No.158 of 2020 dispute between the petitioner and the third party. It is for the petitioner to work out his right before the jurisdictional Civil Court.
