Prayer : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to direct the 6th respondent to confirming the rights of the temple entry and worship of Sree Muthu Mari Amman Temple, at Irumba Naadu, Aavudayar Kovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District to the petitioner and 11 families based on his representation dated 19.01.2022 according to law within stipulated time limit.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to direct the 6th respondent to confirming the rights of the temple entry and worship of Sree Muthu Mari Amman Temple, at Irumba Naadu, Aavudayar Kovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District to the petitioner and 11 families based on his representation dated 19.01.2022.

2. On receipt of the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the sixth respondent issued C.S.R.No.18 of 2022 to the petitioner. Thereafter, the said complaint was forwarded to the file of the third respondent and the enquiry is pending.

3. Considering the above, the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the seventh respondent, conduct enquiry and after giving an opportunity of hearing to both of them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
