M/s.M.Aasha, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) C O M M O N O R D E R These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking issuance of a Mandamus in relation to the conduct of elections in the Sangam by appointing an Administrator.

2. The parties to the Writ Petitions have filed a Joint Compromise Memo, which has been presented before this Court on 23.02.2026. The terms of compromise are as follows:

"[a] Both the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 4 agree to appoint Hon'ble Retired District Judge Mr. V. Sivasubramanian as the Administrator of the Society to conduct the election for the society and maintain the affairs of the society, the educational institution, and the marriage hall that belongs to the society.

[b] The Administrator can appoint an advocate for his assistance to do all the work assigned to him. [c] The Administrator shall scrutinize the voters list by conducting an independent enquiry and finalize the same after providing an opportunity to the members and then conduct the election following the due process of law and the bylaws of the society.

[d] The Administrator shall complete the process of election within a period of 3 months from March, 2026. After completion of the election, hand over all the charges to the elected body.

[e] The remuneration for the Hon'ble Administrator 4/7

is fixed at Rs.1,00,000/- per month, and the remuneration for the advocate to be appointed by him is fixed at Rs. 25,000/- per month. All other incidental expenses shall be borne by the society.

It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to accept the joint compromise memo and pass appropriate orders and thus render justice."

3. In view of the compromise reached between the parties, no further orders are called for in these Writ Petitions. The terms of the compromise shall form part of this order.

4. With the above said observations, these Writ Petitions stand disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
