An order dated 18.01.2024 of the first respondent in pending revision proceedings is challenged herein. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the pending revision petition within a stipulated period. Learned counsel for the private respondents has no objection to this course of action.
2. Learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the District Revenue Officer may be directed to dispose of the matter within eight (8) weeks.
3. In view of the above submissions, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the District Revenue Officer to dispose of the revision petition within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties 2/4
thereto. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
