ORDER
The petitioner seeks protection from the harassment at the hands of the second respondent on the complaint preferred by the third respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that earlier the third respondent had preferred a complaint seeking police protection from the petitioner and obtained an order in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.1269 of 2019 dated 29.01.2019 and has now appeared to have given a complaint against the petitioner.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case in Crime No.56 of 2019 has been registered against the petitioner and three others for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 323, 427 and 379 IPC and Section 4 of the Women Harassment Act. He added that the respondent police have neither harassed the petitioner nor intended to harass him.

5. The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. Inasmuch as a case has been registered against the petitioner, the second respondent is directed to investigate the offence strictly in accordance with law. The petitioner is at liberty to pursue whatever remedies available to him under law in connection with the case now pending investigation in Crime No.56 of 2019.
6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
