ORDER

The petitioner seeks protection from harassment of the second respondent presumably on a complaint given by the third respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by the third respondent, a preliminary enquiry is being held and at once both the parties and the third respondent have participated in the enquiry. He added that the respondent police have neither harassed the petitioner nor intended to harass him.

4. The statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is recorded. The second respondent is instructed that unless the complaint discloses the commission of any cognizable offence, he shall step aside.
