PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct immediate enquiry, disciplinary action and comprehensive forensic / financial audit against the 4th respondent on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 07.01.2026.

ORDER

The petitioners are working in various departments in Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar College, Melaneelithanallur, Sankarankovil Taluk. With a grievance that their complaint dated 07.01.2026 has not been considered by the respondents, they have filed this writ petition. 2/5

2.The case of the petitioners is that the 4th respondent / then principal of the college has committed misappropriation, which has been pointed out along with records to the respondents. However, the Joint Director / the 3rd respondent has not taken any action. 3.When this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader based on the written instructions provided to him submits that the Director of School Education, by proceedings dated 10.02.2026 constituted a committee consisting of Regional Joint Director, Trichy and Assistant Director, Dharmapuri to enquire into the complaint of the petitioners and it would be concluded within a period of twelve weeks.

4.Since a committee has been constituted to enquire into the complaints of the petitioners, this writ petition is closed. No costs. 13.02.2026 DSK 3/5
