ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam to complete the trial in C.C.No.452 of 2018 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the major offence is Section 506(ii) IPC in this case. In the final report, 10 witnesses are cited and the trial is scheduled to commence on 16.05.2019.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Srivaikundam, is now directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.452 of 2018 within a period of three months from 16.05.2019. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
