ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the objection of the petitioner and others for granting permission or approval for establishment or generation of Solar Power Energy by the 3rd respondent or anyone in the lands measuring 36.75 acres in S.No.73/3, S.No.75/2, S.No.75/3, S.No.75/4, S.No.76/3, S.No.73/1, S.No.74/1, Lakshmananpatti Village in Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District before proceeding further.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject matter lands are the ancestral properties of the petitioner and his family members. The third 2/4

respondent has purchased the said lands from few of the co-owners without the knowledge of the others and they intend to put up solar power generators in a large scale for commercial purposes. Hence, the petitioner made an objection to the respondents 1 and 2. Since no action has been taken, he filed the present writ petition.

3.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 and 2/TANGEDCO would submit that no application is received for new electricity service connection to the subject lands.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
