ORDER

The petitioner had sought a certificate from the respondent that both Adaikan and Adaikalam denote her husband's name. By the impugned order in Oo.Mu.No.8454/2022/A5, dated 23.01.2023 the petitioner's request was rejected by stating that the petitioner is residing elsewhere. 2.Unfortunately, the respondent should understand that the petitioner claims certificate for her husband, who resided within the jurisdiction of the respondent herein. It is the duty of the respondent to examine the representation given by the petitioner. Hence, the impugned order is set aside.

3.A direction is given to the respondent to issue fresh notice to the petitioner on or before 05.05.2023, examine the fact whether both the name of Adaikan and Adaikalam denote the name of the petitioner's husband. The respondent should keep in mind the fact that the petitioner is a widow, 2/4

and she would be interested in ensuring the name of husband is properly given in every certificate. The final order should be passed by the respondent on or before 30.06.2023.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is stands disposed. No costs.
