ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus directing the 6th respondent College to issue all the petitioner's original certificates, transfer certificate and no due certificate on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 29.10.2022.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner had joined the first year B.Ed. course in the academic year 20202021 and had paid as sum of Rs.35,000/-. She has joined the second year of the said course and had paid another sum of Rs.35,000/-. However, as per the Government norms, only a sum of Rs.55,000/- has to be paid. The College 2/5

having collected excess amount, is now demanding more amount to release the transfer certificate and other documents. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. The learned Counsel appearing for the 6th respondent brought to the notice of the Court that the tuition fee for the first year is Rs.25,000/- and for the second year is Rs.30,000/-. However, the petitioner has paid the tuition fee only a sum of Rs.25,000/- as tuition fee in the second year. Therefore, another sum of Rs.5000/- has to be paid. He also brought to the notice of the Court that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the Directorate of Adi Dravidar Welfare Department, who in turn, has communicated to the College Principal to the effect that the petitioner has to pay additional sum of Rs.5000/-.

4. In view of the above said facts, it is clear that the petitioner has to pay a sum Rs.5000/- to the 6th respondent's College which is the fee fixed by the Government.

5. In view of the above said facts, on payment of Rs.5000/-, the 6th respondent College is directed to return all the original certificates along with transfer certificate forthwith.
