Prayer : Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Learned Presiding Office to dispose of S.A.No.25 of 2017 on the file of the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Madurai, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the revision petitioner. Issuance of notice to the respondent is dispensed with.

2.The petitioner had availed loan from Canara Bank. He is said to have committed default. Action under SARFAESI Act was taken. The petition mentioned property was also brought to sale. The fifth respondent is the auction purchaser. The bank filed petition under Section 14 of the Act for taking possession. It was also allowed. Challenging the same, the petitioner filed SARFAESI Appeal No.25 of 2017 before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Madurai. 2/4

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that for the last seven years, it has been kept pending. Without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the Presiding Officer, Debts Recovery Tribunal, Madurai to dispose of S.A.No.25 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Registry to mark a copy of this order to the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Madurai.
