ORDER
This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned District Munsif, Lalgudi, to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.86 of 2015, within a stipulated time limit.
2. Among other things, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner, as plaintiff, has filed the suit in O.S.No.86 of 2015 before the District Munsif Court, Lalgudi, for the relief of declaration, injunction and recovery of possession. The grievance of the petitioner is that though written statements were filed as early as in the year 2015, the suit is still pending and the matter has been continuously adjourned for one reason or the other. Aggrieved thereby, the petitioner is before this Court seeking early disposal of the suit proceedings.
3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 4 to 7 and perused the materials available on record. Notice to the respondents 1 to 3 is dispensed with, since the prayer itself is for a limited scope seeking early disposal of the suit proceedings.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the suit is of the year 2015, this Court is of the view that ends of justice will be met if a direction is issued to the learned Judge for early disposal of the suit proceedings. Accordingly, without adverting into the merits of the case, the learned District Munsif, Lalgudi, is directed to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.86 of 2015 within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar(P&A) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar To
