(Order of the court was delivered by G.R.Swaminathan, J.) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent. 2.The petitioner's wife is missing. Since she has not been traced till date, the present habeas corpus petition came to be filed. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's wife was a member of self-help group. She appears to have availed loan from a number of persons and in order to avoid the creditors, she appears to have gone missing. The second respondent is none other than the elder sister of the detenue.
4.Be that as it may, the first respondent has registered Crime No.278 of 2024 based on the complaint of the petitioner. We direct the first respondent to take expeditious steps to trace the missing woman. 2/4
5.With the aforesaid direction to the first respondent, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
