This petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alangulam, Tirunelveli District to expedite the trial in S.T.C.No.178 of 2017 on its file and complete the same within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of trial in S.T.C.No.178 of 2017, in which the complainant has already been examined and the complainant evidence itself was closed on 26.12.2018.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the trial Court is now directed to complete the trial in S.T.C.No.178 of 2017 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
