O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass orders on the appeal preferred by the petitioner, dated 30.11.2020, remainders dated 21.10.2021 and 17.10.2022.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as B.T.Assistant in the Panchayat Union Middle School, Melachaloor, Sivagangai District in the year 2010. While so, the Headmaster sent a notice to the petitioner on 05.03.2020, referring the students complaint dated 03.03.2010, to submit her reply within two days. The petitioner has submitted her reply on 10.03.2020. Thereafter, the Headmaster sent another notice on 03.09.2020, referring to the letter of the District Educational Officer, Sivagangai dated 25.08.2020, as if they received anonymous complaint from the villagers and the students and hence, they proposed to conduct an enquiry on 14.09.2020. The petitioner has also submitted her reply on 14.09.2020. Thereafter, on 15.10.2020, the Chief Educational

Officer, Sivagangai has passed an order against the petitioner. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 30.11.2020 and the same has not been disposed of till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, dated 30.11.2020, within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 30.11.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
