ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is an accused of the offence under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act r/w 200 Cr.P.C. pending in S.T.C.No.422 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram District and apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police, and hence seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner, who is stated to be an Assistant Engineer working in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, failed to appear before the Court on the date of hearing and hence, non bailable warrant has been issued. It is alleged that he was suddenly got afflicted with 'Mild Mio Cardial Infection' and on account of that he was not able to give any instructions to any counsel to file a petition under Section 317 Cr.P.C.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is ordered to surrender before the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ramanathapuram, and the Court concerned shall pass an order on merits on the same day subject to the production of the medical records by the petitioner.
