ORDER

The present case is filed to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.19 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 417 and 420 IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents. 3.The reason adduced by the learned counsel for the petitioner for seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.19 of 2018 registered for the offence under Sections 417 and 420 IPC is that the third respondent is insisting the petitioner to negotiate the mater with the accused persons.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the then Inspector of Police has since been transferred and he has been replaced by a new Inspector of Police. It is therefore apparent that the apprehension of the petitioner that the investigation might not be in the right track may not have any valid reason now.

5. This Court, therefore, directs the second respondent to continue the investigation and the Assistant Commissioner of Police, City Crime Branch, Trichy is to monitor the course of investigation.

6. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
