ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 05.11.2024.

2.It is the contention of the petitioner that TASMAC Shop No. 8527 is located within 500 meters of the main road at Saidaiyalpatti, which 2/6

is also a State Highway. The location of the said liquor shop poses a serious threat to public safety and has led to several instances of public nuisance and disturbance to the local residents, thereby affecting the peaceful environment of the village. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 05.11.2024 before the competent authority. Since the same has not been considered thus far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and appropriate orders would be passed on merits and in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court. 4.In view of the above, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the authority concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.11.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to any other 3/6

interested parties. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
