O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Tirunelveli to complete the trial in C.C.No.925 of 2019.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the accused in the case in C.C.No.925 of 2019 and the case of the prosecution is that on 09.04.2019 at about 12.00 p.m, the cow of the defacto complainant was found missing and thereafter, an FIR in Crime No.98 of 2019 was registered and after completion of investigation, charge sheet has been filed as against the petitioner and the same has been now taken on file in C.C.No. 925 of 2019 and the case is now posted for framing of charges. Though the FIR has been registered in the year 2019, charge sheet has been filed in the year 2019, so far no witnesses have been examined and still the case is pending. Therefore, he prayed to direct the trial Court to complete the trial within a stipulated time.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first

respondent police would submit that already investigation was completed in the year 2019 itself and the respondent police will co-operate for speedy trial and also the witnesses will be produced without any delay. 4.Considering the nature of relief sought for and the case is pending from the year 2019 and now it is posted for framing of charges, the trial Court is directed to complete the trial in C.C.No.925 of 2019, within a period of three months, from the date of this order. 5.With the direction, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. 05.02.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No LR
