ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence punishable under Sections 4 of Women Harassment Act in Crime No.4 of 2019, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner made verbal sexual harassment to the defacto complainant by using filthy words.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he had nothing with the alleged crime. Hence, anticipatory bail may be granted to him. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that since the offence is a bailable one, anticipatory bail cannot be granted.

5.Considering the fact that the offences under the Women Harassment Act are bailable in nature, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
