Muralidharan : Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli to expedite the case in Cr.M.P.No.1542 of 2018 in M.C.No.22 of 2013 pending on his file and to dispose of the same as early as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli to expedite the case in Cr.M.P.No.1542 of 2018 in M.C.No.22 of 2013 pending on his file and to dispose of the same as early as possible. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition for maintenance in M.C.No.22 of 2013 and the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil has directed the respondent to pay a maintenance of Rs.5,000/- to the petitioner and her minor son, by order dated, 23.05.2014. Since the respondent did not comply with the order, the petitioner has filed a petition under Section 128(3) of Cr.P.C., seeking to execute the order. Even though, the petition is pending from the year 2018, the learned Judicial Magistrate, has not disposed the petition sofar.

3.Under such circumstances, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sankarankovil, Tirunelveli, is directed to dispose Cr.M.P.No.1542 of 2018 in M.C.No.22 of 2013, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
