O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent No.2 not to harass the petitioners by considering the petitioner's representation dated 26.03.2019.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. This Court has paid its anxious consideration to the submissions made on either side.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are arrayed as accused in S.C.No.131 of 2015 on the file

of the Assistant Sessions Court(Sub Court), Thuraiyur where they faces trial for an offence under Section 307 IPC. He further submitted that for no reason, they faces harassment at the hands of the respondent police.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that the proceedings under Section 110 Cr.P.C. has been initiated against the petitioners for which summons have been served.

5. But, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that no summons has yet been served on them.

5. Therefore, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor is directed to instruct the authorities concerned to issue summons to the petitioners. On receipt of summons, the petitioners are directed to participate in the said proceedings. Till such time, there shall not be any harassment to the petitioners.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
