ORDER

Challenging the order passed by the VI Additional Sessions Judge, Madurai, Madurai District in Crl.M.P.No.3105 of 2023 in S.C.No.553 of 2018, dated 22.06.2023, this petition is filed.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has filed an application before the learned trial Court seeking a direction to the first respondent to renew the passport of the petitioner bearing No.J6221709 for further period. However, the learned trial Court, taking into consideration of the kidnapping and murder cases pending against the petitioner, had proceeded to dismiss the said application filed in Crl.M.P.No.3105 of 2023 in S.C.No.553 of 2018 pending on the file of the VI Additional Sessions Judge, Madurai, Madurai, dated 22.06.2023.

3. In view of the same, this Court is hereby directs the learned VI Additional Sessions Judge, Madurai, to dispose of the case in S.C.No.553 of 2018 as expeditiously as possible within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
