ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.3 of 2019, seek anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner is the husband and the petitioners 2 to 4 are the in-laws. The complaint was given by the wife who is the defacto complainant on 17.07.2018 to the effect that the petitioners have demanded dowry and have committed cruelty on the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that already a case in registered in crime number 14 of 2018 and thereafter the petitioners approached this Court in Crl.O.P(MD) No.14912 of 2018 for anticipatory bail and this court by an order dated 23.08.2018 granted anticipatory bail the condition imposed by this Court also complied sureties also executed and thereafter the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case was transferred to Thiruparankundram Police station and renumbered as Crime Number 03 of 2019, thereafter the the police personnel forced the petitioners to obtain another anticipatory bail in this crime number before the Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side)would submit that earlier anticipatory bail already granted is sufficient. Since the FIR is transferred only for the purpose of re- numbering, new number has been assigned and there is no apprehension of arrest.

5. Since sureties has also been executed in earlier crime number, no further order is necessary in this case. Hence the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
