ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner / sole accused apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294 (b), 324, 506(ii) of IPC r/w. Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Women Harassment Act, 2002, in Crime No.92 of 2018, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Taluk Police Station, Thanjavur, Thajavur District., seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard the learned counsel on either side.

3.The petitioner is practising as a Lawyer. The Defacto complainant Ramya is said to be his second wife. However, a child has been born to the said Ramya through the petitioner. After the defacto complainant came to know that the petitioner is already married, differences cropped up between them. On 24.03.2018, the petitioner is said to have assaulted the said Ramya out of provocation.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the injured has been discharged from the hospital.

5.Considering the nature of allegations against the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Thanjavur, Thanjavur District and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioner shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

6.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
