ORDER
This petition is filed seeking transfer of investigation in Crime No.13 of 2019 on the file of the 3rd respondent to the 2nd respondent.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his daughter named Sadhana was found missing from 07.01.2019 and hence, he filed a complaint before the third respondent police. Based on the complaint, a case was also registered in Crime No.13 of 2019 on 02.03.2019. Since no action has been taken, the present petition has been filed.
3. Heard Mr.N.Kamesh, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
4. Mr.K.Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that pursuant to the complaint given by the petitioner, investigation has been conducted and the missing girl has also been secured and she has also given a statement stating that she is major aged 22 years, and on her own volition, she has got married one Periyasamy and both are living as husband and wife and there is no illegal detention. Based on the statement of the missing girl, the complaint has been closed. The learned Government Advocate (crl. Side) has also produced a copy of the statement given by the missing girl.
5. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and considering the fact that the investigation has been conducted and the complaint has been closed as the missing girl has got married, no further orders are required in this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
