ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the second respondent. 2.The petitioner claims that he is living below the poverty line and that he is entitled to be a beneficiary under schemes floated by the Tamil Nadu Urban Habitat Development Board. He has given a representation dated 27.12.2021 seeking the relief. Since it has not been considered, the present writ petition came to be filed.

W.P(MD)No.1875 of 2022 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner drew my attention to the order dated 22.09.2021 made in W.P.(MD)No.16979 of 2021. A learned Judge of this Court has passed the following order:- "4. The petitioner has enclosed her Aadhaar and Pan Card as also the representation submitted to the District Collector. The State has floated several schemes for the provision of housing to the poor and homeless. In fact, provision has been made in such regard even under the Pradhan Manthiri Awas Yojana Gramin Scheme. Therefore, it is just and necessary that the petitioner's representation be considered in accordance with one of the applicable schemes and disposed of within a reasonable time.
5. Accordingly, without going into the merits of the matter, the second respondent herein is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2021 by taking into account all applicable schemes in such regard and dispose of such representation within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
4.I am of the view that similar direction can be given in the present writ petition also. The second respondent is directed to consider the petition mentioned representation and pass appropriate orders within a period of eights weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
