ORDER

The petitioner seeks for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to issue patta in his name in furtherance of his application dated 27.08.2024 and the representation dated 05.12.2024.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3. The petitioner purchased the subject land and sought for transfer of patta in his name and accordingly, he made an application and the same is pending with the respondent for several months and thereafter, the petitioner also sent a reminder by way of representation dated 05.10.2024.

4. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, the respondent shall consider the petitioner's application dated 27.08.2024 and the representation dated 05.12.2024 for transfer of patta and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight 2/4

weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
