ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed for issue of mandamus directing the first respondent to take steps to remove the second respondent from Hereditary trusteeship of Shri Ramanuja Koodam Temple situated at Udayarpatti Village, Tirunelveli District and Taluk, based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2021.

2. Since the second respondent has been misusing the funds of the temple and causing mismanagement, the petitioner appears to have made representations in this regard to the first respondent on 02.08.2021 and 17.08.2021. However till date, the first respondent has not taken any steps. Therefore, the petitioner has come forward with the above petition.

3. Considering the limited prayer that was sought for in this writ petition, the above writ petition is ordered directing the first respondent to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 02.08.2021 and 17.08.2021, after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as the second respondent enabling them to submit their case and thereafter, pass appropriate orders by following due process of law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
