O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd and 5th respondents to conduct a proper land survey on land of the petitioner typically Punja measuring 4 Ares (totally 10 Cents) comprised in Survey No.401/8C stood Patta No.5994 situated at Kovilangulam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District and demarcate the boundaries and fix the boundary stones with the assistance of police protection provided by the 4th respondent by considering the petitioner's representations dated 30.12.2025 and 13.01.2026.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocates appearing for the official respondents. By 2/5
consent of both sides, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that online application has been made for survey and demarcation of the boundaries of the property in question.
4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that after consideration of the claims of both the parties, proper steps would be taken to demarcate the land in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923.
5. In view of the above, this Court directs the respondents 3 to 5 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 13.01.2026 and demarcate the land of the petitioner, after consideration of the claims of both the parties and pass orders in accordance with Sections 9 and 10 of the Tamil Nadu Land Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923. If there are rival claims, the said issues can be agitated before the civil Court. The said exercise shall be concluded within a period of twelve weeks from the 3/5
date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
