Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to forthwith refund the Post Retirement Benefit Fund Scheme contribution of Rs.17,600/- to the petitioner together with interest at the rate of 18% per annum payable from 30.06.2017 to till the date on which the above amount is disbursed to the petitioner. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 2.When the petitioner herein had sought for information as to outstanding amount payable under the Post Retirement Benefit Fund Scheme, through his request dated 25.04.2018 under the Provision of Right to Information Act, the General Manager/Second respondent herein had informed the petitioner that a total amount of Rs.17,600/- is payable to the petitioner. In this Connection, the petitioner has made a representation dated 10.10.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.2526 of 2021 3.In the light of the information supplied by the second respondent herein, the petitioner's representation dated 10.10.2020 shall be considered by the second respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and disburse the said amount of Rs.17,600/- together with interest at the rate of 6% from the date on which the amount is due to the petitioner herein.

4.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
