3.Darwin : Respondents This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the detenue by name Shalini, daughter of the petitioner aged about 22 years, who has been illegally detained by the 3rd respondent and produce her before this Court and set her at liberty. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM) Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mayilvahana Rajendran, APP appearing for the respondents 1 and 2. 2.The petitioner is the father of the detenue, who is aged about 22 years. Even as per the complaint, the petitioner would stated that her daughter had left the home after takin away the valuable jewels.

3.We prima facie feel it is not a case of any illegal detention, but appears to be an one of elopement. Therefore, the complaint given by the petitioner before the second respondent has been registered as crime No.64 of 2018. The second respondent police is directed to investigate the matter expeditiously and inform the petitioner about the outcome of the investigation within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4.With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
