: Respondents This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to direct the respondents to produce the detenue or her corpus namely T.Gokila Devi, D/o.K.Dhanuskodi, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM) Heard Mr.A.R.Kannappan, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Mayilvahana Rajendran, APP appearing for the respondents.

2.The petitioner is the father of the detenue, who is said to be aged about 19 years and is missing since 16.02.2018. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenue lodged a complaint before the All Women Police Station seeking police protection. When the Inspector of Police directed the petitioner to come to the police station, he did not co-operate and did not appear before the police. Subsequently, now, he has given a complaint before the second respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.Considering these facts, by directing the petitioner to appear before the police station and on the same day, the detenue should be produced before the police station and permit her to meet the petitioner. The above said direction to be complied with, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this habeas corpus petition is disposed of.
